Our Story

Raising my family on the same mountain my grandparents once ran cattle, I grew up surrounded by family, faith, and the kind of beauty that doesn't need to announce itself.  

My grandmother - Nanny - wore turquoise like armor and with grace.  She taught me to love it, then to make it, Knot by Knot.

Legacy by Running VR is named for the cattle brand my grandparents built, and for the stories we carry forward.  Each piece is handmade in the Ozark Mountains using untreated North American turquoise, solid gold, and the same careful hand-knotting my Nanny passed down.  

My husband and I continue the ranching legacy today with Cow Mountain Cattle Co., raising miniature Highland and Highpark cattle - while I build jewelry that honors where we came from and where we're headed.  No two pieces are the same.
